Celebrating a decade of style at HARE&BONE
This December, HARE & BONE is proud to celebrate ‘A Decade Of Style’ – a milestone that represents creativity, innovation, and meaningful connection. Over the last 10 years, we’ve redefined hairdressing, fostered individuality, and built a brand rooted in artistry and excellence. From our beginnings in Fitzrovia to the expansion to Surrey, this journey has been nothing short of transformative, and we’re thrilled to share it with you.
Our journey so far
Our anniversary theme, ‘A Decade of Style’, encapsulates how far we’ve come in the world of hairdressing. Over these years, we’ve not only embraced the evolution of beauty trends but also refined our techniques and made it our mission to craft bespoke experiences for every client. Each hairstyle we create is a celebration of individuality, tailored to inspire confidence and elevate personal style.
From your first consultation to the final reveal, our process is driven by care, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. It’s not just about delivering a stunning look- it’s about creating transformations that leave a lasting impression.
Creativity and connection are at the heart of our salons
HARE & BONE’s two locations embody different yet complementary elements of our ethos. Our Fitzrovia salon captures the creative energy and innovation of London’s dynamic scene. Here, clients are immersed in an environment that pulses with artistry and forward-thinking styles.
Meanwhile, our Surrey salon provides a tranquil haven for those seeking exceptional service in a serene, relaxed atmosphere. Both spaces reflect our commitment to crafting personalised experiences while maintaining the highest standards of hairdressing.
Beyond the aesthetic, it’s the connections we’ve built with our clients that define our success. Every appointment is an opportunity to understand your vision, preferences, and story- ensuring that your hair reflects who you are. These bonds have inspired us to push boundaries and refine our craft, creating looks that not only enhance your appearance but celebrate your individuality.
Impact beyond the Salon
‘A Decade Of Style’ at HARE & BONE extends far beyond the walls of our salons. Our team has had the privilege of contributing to the broader world of fashion and beauty, working backstage at international fashion shows, collaborating on editorial shoots, and influencing global hair trends.
These experiences infuse our work with a unique perspective, allowing us to stay ahead of trends and bring fresh, cutting-edge techniques to our clients. Each project we undertake reinforces our commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry, ensuring every visit feels like an invitation to experience the future of hairdressing.
Sustainability: at the heart of what we do
In the modern world, style and sustainability must go hand in hand. Over the past decade, we’ve embraced eco-conscious practices, partnering with sustainable beauty brands and incorporating environmentally responsible choices into our daily operations.
From adopting innovative, low-impact techniques to prioritising products with minimal environmental footprints, sustainability is woven into the fabric of what we do. This commitment reflects our belief that creating beautiful hair can, and should be, kind to the planet.
Looking forward: the next chapter
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking ahead to an exciting future. Innovation remains at the heart of our journey, with our talented team continually exploring new ways to push the boundaries of creativity. Our mission is to evolve alongside beauty trends while remaining true to the artistry and personalised care that define our approach.
We’re not just building hairstyles-we’re crafting experiences. Every visit to HARE & BONE is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistry, connection, and innovation that have shaped our brand over the past decade.
Thank you for 10 years of trust
This milestone wouldn’t be possible without you, our clients. To those who’ve been with us since the opening of our Fitzrovia salon and to those who’ve more recently discovered us in Surrey, we thank you for your trust, loyalty, and inspiration. You are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited to continue creating extraordinary hair together.
So, as we toast to ‘A Decade of Style’, we invite you to join us in celebrating 10 years of creativity, connection, and transformation. Book an appointment at one of our salons and experience the exceptional service that has defined HARE & BONE for the past decade.
Here’s to the next 10 years – and beyond!
Harecore Happiness
As fashion week wrapped up, the HARE & BONE Art Team were invited to Chicago to present 10 looks at a global hair conference. Sam, Jamie and Amelia created ‘Harecore Happiness’, which was then showcased to over 25,000 people. Taking inspiration from the European club scene, the team produced a catwalk show during the three-day international hairdressing event, before flying back to celebrate our Esher salon’s fifth birthday.
“The team and I had an incredible experience delivering our latest collection ‘Harecore Happiness’ in Chicago. The concept of the show was inspired by the underground rave scene of the 90s and currently spreading across Europe. We looked to Berlin for inspiration and incorporated a slight goth tone to the collection. We opened the catwalk show with a feeling of oppression and conforming, staged to look like models queueing outside Berghain. The colours we used on the hair were deep and oily but then we pulled the wigs off on stage to showcase strong, textured 00s-inspired cuts The show was all about self-expression, and the colour work was inspired by lights and lasers of a club, representing that sense of release you feel when lost in music.”
London Fashion Week
As London Fashion Week comes to a close, we take a look at another very special show where Sam Burnett was the lead stylist for Vin + Omi. The sustainable, anti-establishment duo, who was recently named the UK’s ‘most interesting fashion designers’ by The Wardrobe Crisis showcased their latest offering at One Hundred Shoreditch. Inspired by the punk movement, Sam and his team of season stylists created bold looks that added further drama to the show.
Sam Burnett:
“Creating such directional hair looks for Vin + Omi is always a real pleasure, especially as we’re supporting designers working sustainably, spreading such a positive message in the fashion world. The looks themselves were created with some intricate graphic braiding that was extended through length, punk-inspired liberty spikes and classic mohawk shapes. It’s always great to be at the forefront of London Fashion Week creating trends and influencing movement within hair.”
